Sean almost did not show up to the set for the day he received his first speaking role on Indictment. It was raining heavily and he was only called to work as a non-union extra for the day so he almost stayed home rather than fighting the rain and LA traffic for only $40 (the daily rate for non-union extras). He did show up was dressed as a Bailiff and sent on set. Just before shooting, the Assistant Director asked him, "Are you a member of SAG?", he said "No", the AD said back, "You are now, when the scene begins you will say, "There's a space up front, follow me". The one sentence that took him from non-union extra to SAG actor.
