Catherine Goulet, a serial entrepreneur and philanthropist, is the Founder, Chair and Executive Producer of the Next Generation Indie Film Awards which is an international film awards program offering the largest grand prize win for any independent film festival or indie film awards program in the world.
Catherine conceptualized the Next Generation Indie Film Awards program and reached out to her business partner, Andrew Jenkins, an award-winning filmmaker and actor, and Tag Goulet, her sister and business partner who is an avid film producer, to co-found this awards program together during the height of the pandemic in 2020.
Prior to founding the Next Generation Indie Film Awards, Catherine worked as a book publisher and co-founder (with Tag Goulet) of FabJob. a medium-sized award-winning indie book publisher named "the number 1 place to get published online" by Writer's Digest Magazine.
Catherine has also co-authored 3 best-selling guide books including 'Dream Careers' which was the ranked the number 1 best-selling book on Amazon.com for Careers and Business.
Over 15 years ago, Catherine conceptualized and co-founded with Literary Agent Marilyn Allen, who has worked with Stephen King ('Misery'), Ken Follett ('The Pillars of the Earth'), John Gray ('Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus'), Mary Higgins Clark, who has 36 movies made based on her Thrillers, the Next Generation Indie Book Awards, which is the largest book awards program in the world for independent publishers and self-published authors.
Catherine is a digital nomad and international globe trotter and while not traveling she splits her time living between four different countries.
