Jim Lasko and his play, "The Ballad of Frankie and Johnny," was performed at the Redmoon Theater in Chicago, Illinois. Lasko and he were responsible for puppetry and masks. He was also scenic designer. Zelda Lin was costume designer and Michael Zerang (original incidental music). Christine A. Solger was lighting designer.
He and Jim Lasko were awarded the 1998 Joseph Jefferson Award Citation for Puppetry and Masks for "The Ballad of Frankie and Johnny" at the Redmoon Theater in Chicago, Illinois.
