George Merck

George Merck is a Palm Beach-based art collector and film producer. He serves on the Board of Trustees and two subcommittees at The Smithsonian's Archives of American Art, where he focuses on increasing youth engagement and updated event strategies. Formerly, George worked for Milk Gallery, a division of Milk Studios. During his time at Milk, he curated two shows with photographer Hunter Barnes; 'Roadbook' (2015) and 'Tickets' (2017). In 2019, Merck co-produced the film 'Giants Being Lonely', written and directed by Grear Patterson, which debuted at the 2019 Venice Film Festival.
