Robert Phoenix(I)
- Composer
Robert began composing trippy Hypnotic Electronic Music back in the
late 1990's - one of the early breed of "Bedroom Musicians". Submitting one of his first tracks "Lift Off" to Ejay Magazine for a
competition judged by Carl Cox, he was selected as one of the
winners. Robert then tried his luck by uploading more of his tracks on
a now defunct MP3 website. He achieved massive chart successes on the site with all of his tracks
and drew a large underground fan base from around the world.
In 1999, he licensed his track "Speedy Astronaut" to Warner Brothers and it was featured in the sound track to "The Matrix Revisited".
This led to Robert being given the opportunity to do a remix for Robert Miles and also "Ray Of Light" by Madonna.
In 1996, his most sommercial song "My Final Fantasy" was composed to underground acclaim around the world and a music video was shot to accompany and promote the song.
Throughout the years, various record labels have courted Robert but he has decided to remain independent.
