- Denny Clairmont was born on December 24, 1935 in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, USA. He was an actor and cinematographer, known for Laserblast (1978), Reflections of Passion (1975) and The World Is Just a 'B' Movie (1971). He died on May 11, 2020 in Mill Valley, California, USA.
- Son of cinematographer Leonard Clairmont and older brother of Terry Clairmont.
- He and Terry Clairmont founded camera rental company Clairmont Camera in Hollywood in 1976. The company was a massive success and became one of the largest of its kind in the world, with other facilities opening in Albuquerque, New Mexico and in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal, Canada. He retired in 2017, after selling the company to Culver City-based Keslow Camera.
- Died after suffering a fall in the kitchen at his home in Mill Valley, California.
