"I never felt so free before, you're goddamn ghost.. I never felt so fine before, I hit the cloud." Ready for something extra funky and fun? A music video has debuted for a song titled "Lost!" by the Korean rapper known as Rm (whose real name is Kim Nam-joon). The video is made by a French filmmaker named Aube Perrie and features Rm getting lost in all kinds of mazes, contraptions, loops, eventually escaping into a talk show. There's so many things going on in this while his crew gets lost in never-ending offices and hallways. Aside from being super creative & visually dynamic, this music video has successfully introduced me to Rm and his music. Perrie describes it as a "sweet experimental music video with lots of set transitions and some Escher influence." This stars Kim Namjoon, with Audrey Kang, David H. Lee, Hee Shin, Stephany Yujin, Natalia Bulynia, Tarsvinder Singh Sihra,...

Exclusive: Jack Black has boarded Gianna, a horror comedy short written, produced by and starring his School of Rock co-star Rivkah Reyes, as an associate producer.
Also starring Emmy nominee Margaret Cho (Fire Island) and Elizabeth Faith Ludlow (Peacemaker), the film follows the newly sober and recently single Gina (Reyes), who is faced with the literal devil herself, after her sliding-scale therapist (Cho) suggests spending time with her inner demons. Kait Schuster served as director, with Jarad Schwartz and Brando Crawford among the EPs on the short, which premieres at Inside Out Festival and will also play the Palm Springs Shorts Festival.
“I loved the perfectly twisted queerness of the story and script and I had to get involved,” said Cho of the project. “Rivkah is The Gay Future!!!!!”

When the Hives released their last album, in 2012, the Swedish garage-rockers didn’t plan on waiting 11 years to follow it up. Unfortunate, unforeseen events just kept getting in their way. The trouble started in 2013, when bassist Dr. Matt Destruction left the group due to health problems; continued in 2019, when drummer Chris Dangerous was temporarily sidelined following major stomach surgery; and the capper came in 2020, when the pandemic made it impossible for any of them to travel to America to record.

After he makes his exit, the camera focuses on a Roomba-style robot vacuuming the floor — until it suddenly becomes intrigued by a TV report about NASA’s Curiosity rover, which has spent “more than 10 lonely years” roaming the surface of Mars.
The rest of the video follows the besotted vacuum robot’s quest to meet the Curiosity rover, venturing out of the Kia Forum into Los Angeles traffic.

The Hives have readied The Death of Randy Fitzsimmons, their first studio album in over 10 years. The Swedish rockers will drop the LP on August 11th; today, they’ve shared lead single, “Bogus Operandi.” Check it out below.
The Death of Randy Fitzsimmons has just the type of absurd origin story you’d expect from The Hives. In a press release, the band claim that they haven’t heard from the titular character — the elusive “founder, mentor and songwriter” who started the group 30 years ago — since they released their last album, 2012’s Lex Hives. Recently, they found an obituary that led them to Fitzsimmons’ tombstone; only, upon digging, they found not a corpse, but demo tapes and a piece of paper plotting The Death of Randy Fitzsimmons.
Meanwhile, Hives frontman Howlin’ Pelle Almqvist had this to say about the album: “There’s no maturity or anything like that bullshit, because...

Angèle liberates herself from the opinions of others in her video for “Libre” — that is, after seeing an ad for her music vandalized with a penis drawing. On Tuesday, the Belgian singer dropped the imaginative video, where she flies high as an astronaut and superhero after eating a magical slice of pizza in the snowy New York City streets.
Angèle — the well-established singer making waves thanks to her pop-perfect album Nonante-Cinq and a co-sign from Dua Lipa — tells Rolling Stone she wanted the Aube Perrie-directed visual for her single...

Megan has dropped a new freestyle for her “hotties” on Twitter.
The Houston rapper playfully asked if her fans on Twitter were “up” before sharing a video for “Tuned In Freestyle,” a flow that addresses her haters and pays homage to some Pokémon characters.
On the track, Megan even spits bars like, “I’m the hot girl, feelin’ like Charizard/And he know he finna win if he get my card.” In its accompanying video, she can be seen dressed head-to-toe in lime green while twerking and holding a wine glass in the studio.
