Doug Stern was born in Pomona, California and grew up in the Inland
Empire before attending Cal State Fullerton.
Doug has worked in the music video industry for nearly a decade creating concepts and writing treatments for top directors like F. Gary Gray, Paul Hunter, Dave Meyers, Tim Story, Benny Boom and Jake Nava.
Doug created concepts for most of the top recording artists of the 1990s and 2000s - crafting videos that have won a Grammy (Babyface's "How Come, How Long") as well as countless MTV Video Awards and MVPA Awards.
Doug's videos (numbering in the hundreds) have helped sell millions of records for artists as diverse as Britney Spears, Christian Aguilera, Mariah Carey, Diddy, Kid Rock, Usher, TLC, System of a Down, Jay Z, Busta Rhymes, and Celine Dion. Some of the more noted videos include Outkast's "Hey Ya," Beyonce's "Crazy in Love," Notorious B.I.G.'s "Hypnotize" and Missy Elliott's "Work It."
He co-created the story for Outkast's debut film "Idlewild" and his screenplay "Shade" is in development.
