The first episode of the TV anime adaptation of Negi Haruba's romantic comedy manga series The Quintessential Quintuplets aired in Japan on January 11, 2019, and a special project to celebrate its fifth anniversary launched on January 1, as previously reported . As part of the project, a commemorative song "Kimi Dattakara" ( Because It's You ) will be available on digital services on April 17. The anime's official website announced the news on April 11.
