Born on Long Island, NY. Lived in Valley Stream and Garden City. Graduated from Chaminade High School in 2005. Attended Drexel University before transferring to Hofstra University. Graduated from Hofstra with a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies & Production and a Masters of Fine Arts in Documentary Studies & Production.
His thesis film, "The Game of Many Names" (2018), is made its way through the festival circuit capturing one award: -Hollywood North F.A - 2021 winner best vfx & color -Madrid F.A. - 2021 semi-finalist best director, cinematography, screenplay, short doc, poster -LIIFE, The Film Collective, MIFF, NYLIFF, Ozark Star F.F. - 2021 selection -The Bridgeport F.F. - 2021 honorable mention -Miami Independent F.F. - November 2019 selection
Founded his production company, Toorot, in 2017. Toorot's first short film, "Keys Tell All" (2020) made it into two film festivals: -NJ International Short, Ozark Star F.F. - 2021 selection
And the second movie production from Toorot, "Monster Bed" (2022) has faired better: -American Gold Intl., Twin Rivers, Point Lookout, Austin Life-Off, Calcasieu Parish, Marina del Rey F.F. - 2022 selection
In pre-production is "BTB" (2023), a family prepares to leave for a holiday party, but they are not prepared for the knock on their door. It will be released March 1st, 2023.
Past Life I was a bartender from 2015 until 2021 in an Irish, family/community oriented restaurant, a Indian-Napotalian gastropub (amazing, The Onion Tree in Sea Cliff, NY), a farm-to-table bar and the place to be in summer at an outdoor, 360 degree bar around a tree serving hundreds to 1,000+ a weekend night. I was lucky to manage at two of those place too.
Lifeguard from 2005 on, certified CPR/AED, First Aid, Oxygen professional rescuer and Part 107 drone pilot.
