Ann P. Johnson
- Actress
- Make-Up Department
Ann Johnson was born in 1970 to Benjamin and Nancy Johnson. When she
was born, her mother was 42. Her parents did everything they could to
discourage her from having a career in the entertainment industry, but
that didn't stop her. As soon as Ann graduated from East Carolina
University, got her first job and began making her own money, she
signed with a local talent and modeling agency. Curious about all
aspects of the industry she soon was doing more behind the camera than
in front of it. Her many roles included instructor, makeup artist,
agent, new faces coordinator, and website administrator. In 1999, she
started her own business as a freelance makeup artist called 'Blush
Cosmetic Artistry'. Still working both behind and in front of the
camera, she was soon working on movies, doing makeup for advertising
campaigns and styling dance teams like the Carolina Cobras Snake
Charmers. In 2001, she joined a local networking group for actors
called the Carolina Actors Action Network and was soon appointed to its
board of directors.
Today Ann continues to advise local talent and models. She is currently in the process of recording a demo of self-written songs. She has a full-time job outside of the industry, but also stays busy working on freelance makeup jobs in print, TV and film.
