- Actor
Rob Beeston is a Canadian actor known primarily for local stage and community theatre in and around Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Rob began acting with the St. Albert Children's Theatre, a local community group for kids in his home town, which has produced a number of notable Canadian names in writing, directing, and acting over the past 40 years. After taking a long hiatus to raise his family with wife Donna, Rob returned to the stage in 2017, and began to branch out into small screen roles with "One Minute to Prove Yourself" in 2018 and "Marionette Man" under the pseudonym "Rob Christopher". Rob went on to star in the 2019 Edmonton Fringe Festival production of "Where Heroes Lie" as an aging soldier returning to the graves of his WW2 compatriots to pay his respects - and share a secret.
Following the stage shutdown due to COVID-19 in 2020, Rob continued his film and TV endeavours, landing a recurring role as Detective Phil Kent in the the Spearphishing series of films in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
So far in 2023, Rob both directed and co-starred as Felix Ungar in The Odd Couple, and co-directed Over the River and Through the Woods, with both productions receiving local critical acclaim.
