Rada Stefanova Moskova was born on May 3, 1933 in Gabrovo, Bulgaria . In 1960, she graduated from Medical University. She worked as a medic in Gabrovo, as well as a playwright in the Central Puppet Theatre, the National Theatre for Youth (1962-1980) and the Puppet Theatre (1981). She is an author of puppet plays, including "Angry Letters"; "Buzzer". Among her best-known books are "Butterfly" (poems for children) (1968); "Hey, nag!" (Talk) (1982); "Pieces of Time"(poems) (1995). Moskova wrote screenplay of the movies "Dog in a drawer" (1982), "Up Cherry" (1984), "Hi, Grandma!" (1992); "A Talk with Birds" (1997); "Mrs. Dinosaur" and others. In all her works present the theme of inner need to give and receive love. "Dog in a Drawer" received Award of the Union of Bulgarian Filmmakers (1982); first prize at the festival in Varna (1983)."A Talk with Birds" received "Liv Ullmann" Award for the movie (Chicago, USA, 1998).
