Jack is an award winning playwright turned screenwriter. Two feature films, FOR ALLISON and CHARLOTTE SOMETIME have been optioned by Destiny Pictures. A two time Oscar nominated director is attached to direct For Allison.
In 2018, Jack optioned a series of 6 pulp novels featuring Max Thursday, a 1940s San Diego P.I. which he's developing into a TV series. In 2021, he's finishing a TV pilot about the gangs of Oceanside, CA; a biopic about Oklahoma country rock legend, Tex Messenger, and a romcom about a disgraced M&A broker.
On the stage side, two of his plays were selected for the Fritz Blitz, a prestigious California festival. TERMINAL STASIS received rave reviews during its run and INCHOATE was equally lauded.
Since a teenager, Jack has worked in the music business. Starting out in bands, he moved into the retail world and independent distribution. Upon moving to California in 1994, he worked as an independent sales rep for Rounder Records. He owns, operates and records at Twin Star Studios outside of San Diego. (www.twinstar.studio) He's remastering the recently discovered missing final album by Tex Messenger. Other projects will see the light of day in 2022
