Tigran Tovmasian was born and raised in Sydney, Australia, to two Armenian Parents. He and his older brother trained and competed in Judo tournament's from a young age. Tigran was an international Gold medalist and 4 time National medalist. At the age of 14 his Mother got him into acting. Soon after he was selected to go to the U.S to be part of an International Acting Showcase.
Before departing to The U.S in 2015, he carried his work ethic and focus from Judo into acting school. He began training the famous Meisner Technique at The Actors Pulse in Sydney, Australia.
In his time in The U.S he worked with, trained with and was mentored by renowned actors Debby Ryan, Paris Berelc, Hayden Byerly and Josie Totah. At the end of his time in The U.S he was offered representation by several agencies.
Upon returning to Australia, Tigran decided to continue training as he was now an auditioning actor. He resumed his studies at The Actors Pulse and decided that he would leave high school and pursue acting full time. During his time studying he performed several stage pieces, commercials, film clips and as of late he was cast in and shot the Tv mini-series "Greystanes" by film makers Ryan Cauchi and Matt Ferro.
After taking years off Judo to focus on acting, Tigran decided to get back into the world of Martial arts and took up Freestyle wrestling. Within 1 year of training he became a Super series and State champion, birthing his desire to write a story about the sport. He began writing his up and coming short film "The Circus Lion" which he plays the lead and is also his directorial debut along side his mentor and acting coach Billy Milionis. The film is about an amateur wrestler attempting to make it out of Western Sydney.
Tigran Tovmasian is now also an acting tutor at The Actors Pulse in Sydney, he has taught and studied acting across the globe (The U.S, Europe, Australia).
After almost a decade of accomplishments in the industry yet only being 23 years old, with his knowledge and tenacity he is unquestionably a rising star and one to look out for.
