- Herbert Wernicke was born on March 24, 1946 in Auggen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. He was a costume designer and production designer, known for Giulio Cesare (2004), La belle Hélène (1999) and Montezuma (1982). He was married to Desiree Meiser . He died on April 16, 2002 in Basel, Basel-Stadt, Switzerland.
