Spoiler Alert: Do not read if you have not yet watched “Savages,” the fifth episode of “Outlander” Season 4.
The fifth episode of “Outlander’s” fourth season, entitled “Savages,” picked up the pace dramatically, creating an intense roller coaster ride that highlighted two very different storylines for Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie (Sam Heughan), complete with an emotional reunion with an old friend.
In 1767, Claire was learning to communicate with Cherokee wise woman Adawehi (Tantoo Cardinal), who is the show’s version of Nayawenne from the book, and Fraser’s Ridge came a long way since the end of the last episode, so obviously, a bit of time has passed.
Jamie and Claire parted ways, with Claire headed for the Mueller homestead to deliver a baby and Jamie headed to town to find men for their settlement. Neither trip was without its problems. Jamie couldn’t find a single man to come settle Fraser’s Ridge,...

"Let’s Kill Hitler" makes my brain hurt.
Mind you, it’s a good hurt, but much of the discussion on this episode will have to fall under our spoilers section due to the massive amount of plot that occurs in this episode. Yet, there’s still plenty of non-spoiler stuff to talk about for those that have yet to watch it [...]...

Doctor Who is back, and the Time Lord (Matt Smith) returns to Earth following an unconventional summons from companions Amy Pond (Karen Gillan) and Rory Williams (Arthur Darvill) to find out his progress in locating their daughter. However, the reunion soon goes awry, as their childhood friend Mels (Nina Toussaint-White) hijacks the heroes and the Tardis by gunpoint.
What follows is an unusual adventure that takes them to Nazi Germany in 1938, sets them face-to-face with Adolf Hitler (Albert Welling) and reunites them with River Song (Alex Kingston)
During TARDISblend 35, we review the events of Let's Kill Hitler, and also look at Amy's and Rory's childhood relationship with the "new" character of Mels, and how it developed as they grew to adulthood. We discuss Hitler's brief cameo and writer Steven Moffat's allusions and metaphors used in this episode about the character as well [...]...

Rory (Arthur Darvill) and Amy (Karen Gillan) drive around in the car making crop circles, with Amy giving instructions in the passenger seat (!) This is to contact the Doctor (Matt Smith) and they write his name in the form of a crop circle. Which becomes a headline in the local Leadworth paper. Amy asks if he's found Melody yet, he's had all Summer (and so have we waited around all Summer for the remaining episodes.) He reassures he'll find her cos of who she grows up to be. They notice a line running through the crop circle, which they didn't do. Mels (Nina Toussaint-White) drives up in a stolen car. (No prizes for guessing Mel is short for Melody.) Oh spoilers, never mind. It was obvious. Mels tells Amy she "never said he was hot." Think Matt Smith's Doctor is probably the only one who'd be described as hot!
