- Grandson of Jack Carson and Kay St. Germain Wells. Performed in the Arizona Theatre Company's presentation of Tennessee Williams' "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof." His grandfather Jack Carson had played Gooper in the movie version of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (1958) (starring Paul Newman and Elizabeth Taylor), so, in a sense, Seth played his grandfather's son a generation later. In the stage play, Maggie the Cat was performed by Clare Wren and Big Daddy by George Murdock.
- Seth's birth was an emergency. His mother hemorrhaged because of a condition known as placenta previa. She hemorrhaged about 6:00 a.m. and bled internally while the hospital tried to figure why she had not gone into labor. She had believed that her water had broken, but the moisture was due to a release of blood. By the time she delivered through emergency c-section, she had been bleeding internally for about 11 hours.
- Son of Daniel Frank Webster and grandson of Beverly Yissar.
- On September 11, 2001, Seth's band (Bad News Blues Band, http://www.badnewsbluesband.com/) was on a road trip and scheduled to play at Buddy Guy's Legends in downtown Chicago, in the shadow of the Sears Tower. Most of the patrons that night were stranded in town because of the airline shutdown. The honor of it all was lost in the aftermath of the events in New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington, DC.
- Seth's grandmother Kay St. Germain Wells introduced him to her neighbors: Bob Hope, and the Hennings, wife Ruth Henning and her husband Paul Henning creator of The Beverly Hillbillies (1962), among several of the programs he developed.
