Sallye Stotsbery

- Music Department
Sallye was born in the south, and had a desire to go into show
business. After a couple of moves, she finally ended up at Texas
Christian University, where she acquired her degree in Radio/TV/Film,
with a minor in Theatre (and Russian). She moved to LA in 1993, and had
absolutely no luck and even fewer connections. Eventually she started
doing some extra work to pay a few bills, learned the ins and outs of
post-production, and began to record ADR. Foley was even more fun, so
she started to walk and learned to prop, and actually made a decent
living for a short while. However, foley work slowed down quite a bit
for her, so she dabbled in production in 1997 as the production manager
for the Los Angeles Times High School Sports Show. Lacking strong
connections and focus, she failed to remain in the production business
for long. Finally, in 2001, she started over as a production assistant
for various companies, such as MTV and Cossette. She continues to
struggle onward and upward, and hopes someday to be able to add
producer to her list of credits.
