Lauderhill (US), Aug 23 (Ians) After Sohail Khan’s four wickets in four deliveries, Jonathan Carter turned on the style with the bat as New York Warriors wrapped up a comprehensive 6-wicket win over the Atlanta Riders in US Masters T20 match.
Carter completed the chase with two sixes of the final two deliveries of the game and Sohail was awarded the Player of the Match.
Asked to bat first, the Atlanta Riders’ openers Robin Uthappa and Lendl Simmons started off things in a steady manner. The duo took the Riders to the 50-run mark in the fifth over, having smashed 3 sixers and 4 boundaries between themselves in that time.
The openers, well set by now, were setting up the platform to tee off in the final few overs, even as the New York Warriors bowlers tried to dry up the runs. By the 7th over, the Riders were at 72/0 with Simmons...

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Cedric the Entertainer are in early negotiations to star in Intermedia Films' Joe's Last Chance for director Andrew Bergman and Outlaw Prods. A tentative spring start date is being eyed for the project, which reunites Schwarzenegger with Intermedia as the company is a producer on the star's upcoming Warner Bros. Pictures release T3: Rise of the Machines. Last Chance is described as being in the vein of Analyze This, and the script centers on a dedicated hit man (Schwarzenegger) who travels to a tropical paradise to terminate his "mark," to be played by Cedric the Entertainer. However, when the mark inadvertently saves the hit man's life, the hit man gives him a stay of execution and uses the opportunity to take a long-overdue vacation, sparking an unexpected friendship with the man he is supposed to kill. Outlaw's Bobby Newmyer, Jeffrey Silver and Scott Strauss will produce. Bergman, who came aboard the project in July, rewrote the script, which Intermedia picked up as a spec from first-time screenwriter Dwayne Smith two years ago (HR 6/13/00). In September, John Travolta had been in negotiations to star, but a deal could not be reached. Schwarzenegger, Cedric the Entertainer and Bergman are repped by CAA.
