The Producers Guild of America bestowed its Darryl F. Zanuck Producer of the Year Award to "No Country for Old Men" at the PGA's annual awards dinner at the Beverly Hilton Hotel Saturday night.
The award was presented to Scott Rudin and brothers Joel and Ethan Coen. In addition to serving as producers, the Coens also wrote and directed the Miramax/Paramount Vantage film.
"The Sopranos" took the producing award for TV drama, while "30 Rock" was honored in the comedy series category.
Recognized for producing "The Sopranos" were David Chase, Brad Grey, Ilene S. Landress, Terence Winter, Matthew Weiner, Harry Bronchstein, Diane Frolov, Andrew Schneider, Martin Bruestle and Gianna Maria Smart.
The award for "30 Rock" went to Lorne Michaels, Tina Fey, Marci Klein, Robert Carlock, Jeff Richmond and Jerry Kupfer.
Brad Lewis earned the award for animated film for producing "Ratatouille", which he also wrote and directed.
In the theatrical documentary field, Michael Moore and Meghan O'Hara took the prize for producing "Sicko".
"Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee", produced by Tom Thayer, Dick Wolf and Clara George, was honored in the long-form television category.
