Given her recent past playing a selfish author, an evil queen and a cold executive, it’s been a while since we’ve seen the softer side of Charlize Theron. Universal is looking to bring her back to the side of the angels, however, nabbing a pitch based on Ellen Sherman’s novel Everything Nice as a potential Theron starring role.Of course the story, which Karen Croner will initially adapt for the screen, may not quite be as fluffy as it first appears. Everything Nice tells the story of Michaela, an advertising executive who is fired from her top-notch job at a big-name firm. The only gig she can find is one teaching life skills to teenage girls at a public school, a task for which she is ill suited, since she barely possesses basic social skills herself.
