- Dan Settani was born on April 23, 1970 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA. He is an actor and director, known for Wrong Way to Sundance (2002), The Night Ferris Bueller Died (1999) and Playground Girls (2001).
- Was shot twice (non fatally) in Bridgeport, Connecticut while visiting his grandmother at St Vincent's Hospital in 1996.
- Was fired as a valet from the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly hills when an unpublished semi-autobiography manuscript, "A valet in LA" was found in his locker that threatened the image of many a Hollywood star who visited the Hotel in Settani's 3 years working there.
- It must be so hard to write and direct a movie when a studio is actually paying you to do it. At least when it's your own money, you know four things. 1) Who gives a shit how it turns out 2) The actresses you hire think you're the next hottest thing anyway, so sex isn't the issue, 3) No one will see it anyway, and 4) if they do and hate it, you still might work in this town again. But then if you actually do work in this town again as a writer/director...1, 3 and 4 no longer apply.
