He was a brilliant lecturer and wrote several books for popular
audiences, including 'The Unity of the Universe' (Doubleday, 1959),
'The Physical Foundations of General Relativity' (Doubleday, 1969), and
'Modern Cosmology' (Cambridge University Press, 1971).
