Began writing for newspapers in the late 40s before joining United
Artists as a publicity coordinator and (later) vice-president and head
of publicity in Hollywood.
Orchestrated publicity campaigns for such films as "West Side Story",
"Some Like It Hot" and "The Apartment.".
Was featured in the 2003 documentary "Funny Old Guys" about the weekly
lunch meetings of a group of Hollywood characters.
