20th Century Fox co-chairman Stacey Snider and UTA CEO Jeremy Zimmer sat down with LinkedIn executive editor Dan Roth on Wednesday morning to kick off the Hollywood debut of the LinkedIn Discussion Series. A standing-room-only screening room was packed with UTA agents and other industry observers to hear Snider and Zimmer discuss the importance of mentorship and several issues that Hollywood is currently grappling with, including the proliferation of short-form content and the shrinking of release windows. “It’s inevitable that the windows are going to collapse,” said Snider, who said she and her Fox colleagues are still trying to figure out.

It took less 24 hours after the news that Trevor Noah would replace Jon Stewart on The Daily Show for the new host to land himself in hot water when Twitter users called out the comedian for controversial remarks made on his feed.
Despite the drama, one of the the show's correspondents is defending Comedy Central's newest headliner.
