An Ivy League graduate with a degree in Diplomatic History, Julia was
born in Zambia, spent her early childhood in Africa, and grew up in
Paris before finishing high school in Old Greenwich, Connecticut. Her
mother, a stage actress herself in Paris in her youth, was originally
from Turkey. Her father, a career diplomat with the United Nations, is
from Norway and along with most of Julia's immediate family, lives in
Europe.
Won Best Acting for performance in Fist Full of Love at the 48 Hour Film Project Festival in Las Vegas, 2009. Shared prize with co-star, Zuleikha Robinson.
