- Maria Psomas is a Greek-American actress, playwright, and acting teacher. She worked in off-Broadway theatre in New York for 10 years while being represented exclusively by the Carson-Adler Agency. She also worked in commercials and film. As a playwright, her work has been produced in New York and Minneapolis. Her short play "The Girl Show" premiered off-Broadway in New York in 2006; her full-length play "L.A. is Two Hours Behind" received a staged reading at The Playwrights Center in Minneapolis. She studied acting at Yale School of Drama and is a graduate of the University of Minnesota. In 2010 she was officially certified by Ivana Chubbuck in Los Angeles to teach The Chubbuck Technique.
