T. Prakash Rao was born on November 24, 1924 in Krishna, Andhra Pradesh, India. He was a director and assistant director, known for The Good Son (1958), Suraj (1966) and Pitchi Pullaiah (1953). He died on July 1, 1992 in Madras, Tamil Nadu, India.
Was influenced by communist ideology and joined 'Praja Natya Mandali'.
Due to crackdown on communist party in 1940s, went underground and made
his way like most of his colleagues from 'Praja Natya Mandali' to
Madras into the film world.
