Åge Pedersen

Born in Vestre Aker, Akershus Norway, in 1909 as son of Johan Sigvart Pedersen and Agnes Helene Andersen.
Both his parents belonged to the working class, and Aage joined the labor movement at an early age. He was
active in the movement's theater, called Samfundsteatret, as an actor, and he also played i Olav Dalgard's films
about the workers' struggle.
For 25 years Aage Gunnar Pedersen was secretary and treasurer of the Oslo Chemical Workers Association. In addition
he was an active entertainer at the movement's events, and he held many trusted positions. He died in the summer of
1989, just a few days before his 80th birthday.
