She was president of The Patton Corp, an investment and real estate holdings company in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She was involved in community work including serving on the Cleary University board of trustees, the Washtenaw County Community Mental Health Service board of directors and as a docent at the University of Michigan Museum of Art.
