- Paige was a graduate of West Point and intended to make the army his career before he got into the acting business.
- While filming Son of Dracula (1943), Louise Allbritton and her costar Robert Paige were constantly playing jokes on their cast mates. One day, costar Pat Moriarity and Robert Paige were filming a scene, where they flip open her (Allbritton's) character's coffin. They were astonished, upon opening the lid, to find Allbritton inside, completely naked.
