- He is very active with his local church and leads a weekly Life Group.
- Tom is the middle child of five, all raised in Carmel, Indiana.
- Tom is a member of the historic Hollywood American Legion Post 43 and the LA chapter of VME - Veterans in Media and Entertainment.
- Tom has worked on numerous TV shows/Feature films as an LEO Technical Advisor and has done several stunts as well.
- A proud father of two grown sons: Greg - Masters degree from UCLA, works as a teacher, and Donald - USC Film School graduate (Cum Laude), works as an independent Producer.
- Has appeared in dozens of national commercials, including two Superbowl ads.
- His very first speaking role was on ABC's hit drama "Dynasty", playing "Bennett", Joan Collins chauffeur.
- Tom is an avid Harley-Davidson rider, having logged on more than 500K miles over the years. He has ridden in every state west of New York - also rode in Canada and Mexico.
- His mom was born in Bulgaria, raised in Austria and during WWII she and her family were interned by the Nazis for a year. Patton's 3rd Army liberated them, she immigrated to the United States through Ellis Island, met and married his dad who was serving in the US Army.
- Was a police officer for 20 years (5 LAPD and 15 Simi Valley PD) and was deployed with LAPD during the 1992 Los Angeles riots.
- Was a member of LAPD's elite Pistol Team and was awarded the Distinguished Expert medal. He won a Silver Medal in the Police/Fire Olympics in the Pistol competition.
- Joined the US Army right after graduating from Carmel (Indiana) high school and is a very strong proponent of our military and first responders - volunteers for numerous Veteran organizations.
- Using his military/police skills, he worked for years as an Executive Protection Specialist - protecting numerous high profile and celebrity clients.
- While working for Simi Valley Police Dept, he was assigned to the Motor Unit and worked as an accident investigator.
