Fresh off the heels of E3 2017, Executive Producer, Derek Neal, walks us through a first look at the world setting and gameplay of Iron Galaxy’s new action-adventure game, Extinction.
From the press release:
The world of Extinction is vibrant and lush, but it’s under siege by a massive army of otherworldly invaders called the Ravenii. The main protagonist, Avil, is one of the last of the legendary order of Sentinels – warriors who are equipped with the skills and tools necessary to take down these fearsome foes. His ultimate goal is to save as much of humanity as possible, by helping civilians escape their imminent doom.
Extinction’s gameplay is fast, fluid, and emphasizes high-speed traversal around the environment. Avil can dash in any direction, run horizontally and vertically along surfaces, cling to walls, pull himself up ledges, and traverse the environment with his whip. He can run on virtually anything,...

If you're up for a pulse-pounding trailer that looks like Attack on Titan with Ogres in an Overwatch-esque style than you need to check out Extinction.
A thrilling action game by Indie developers Iron Galaxy and Maximum Games have produced one heck of a trailer for their upcoming colossal game, Extinction. The game features the last Sentinel, Avil, facing off against hordes of Ogres and Monsters known as the Ravenii in order to save mankind from, you guessed it, extinction.
The trailer looks pretty darn epic, to say the least. Just the concept of fighting these massive creatures across varying landscapes, saving humanity, has me really excited for this game. The question will be if the game can translate from the stellar trailer to the actual gameplay. Fortunately, the developers seem pretty confident.
"Extinction is absolutely relentless,” said Kraig Kujawa, Game Director at Iron Galaxy. “We’re really happy with the fast,...

Capcom has finally announced that they will return to the Darkstalkers franchise, with the release of Darkstalkers Resurrection on Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network early next year.
Resurrection is not exactly the next entry into the classic fighting series, but is instead a package containing re-developed versions of Night Warriors: Darkstalkers Revenge and Darkstalkers 3. Iron Galaxy, the studio behind Marvel Vs. Capcom: Origins, is handling development on the game and is planning to make this much more than a simple re-release of the original titles.
Both games in Darkstalkers Resurrection will include; Ggpo-enabled online game play, HD graphical filtering with several viewing options, replay sharing, Spectator Mode, in-game Achievements/Trophies , Challenge/Tutorial Mode, and unlockable concept artwork/videos.
Yoshinori Ono has often hinted to fans that he would like to return to Darkstalkers, and Capcom seems to be positioning Resurrection as the “first step” towards achieving that goal.
