“Prey” is an interesting episode, but not always for greatest of reasons. It manages to snag your focus by essentially benching half of this season’s storylines and bringing to the forefront Andrea and her terrible decision-making. Normally, I would roll my eyes at the thought of Andrea getting anymore screen time than necessary – she’s basically the star of this episode – but due to her sudden realization of the Governor’s insanity, she’s able to rise above the contempt I save especially for her. Sure, her epiphany is too little too late, but at least she wasn’t blindly following him to the bitter end. And we got a decently entertaining hour out of it, even if it was nothing more than a filler episode.
