- Lyle 'Spud' Murphy was born on August 19, 1908 in Berlin, Germany. He was a composer, known for Lethal Weapon 3 (1992), You Were Never Lovelier (1942) and The Talk of the Town (1942). He died on August 5, 2005 in Hollywood, California, USA.
