- Born and raised in Wichita, Kansas, John Mueller caught the entertainment bug by working at a drive in theatre as a teenager. His diverse background in entertainment includes many theatrical stage roles including the national Broadway tour of the Tom Stoppard play "The Real Thing" directed by Mike Nichols, the national tour of the one man comedic stage play "The Wonder Bread Years," and his Drama Desk award winning and Joseph Jefferson nominated performance as Buddy Holly in "Buddy..the Buddy Holly Story." John Mueller's "Winter Dance Party" concert show, the official tribute to Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper has been critically acclaimed and has legions of fans all across the United States and tours regularly. It is the only show of its kind endorsed by the Holly, Valens and Richardson estates. TV and Film roles include appearances on "Ellen," "E Entertainment," "Return to Horror High," "Above Ground," "Brisco County," and the indie flick "Bloodline" which also featured two of John's original song compositions. An accomplished songwriter, his Americana oriented genre of music is featured on Spotify, itunes and wherever music is sold.
