- Denise Morelle was born on December 3, 1925 in Montréal, Québec, Canada. She was an actress, known for Il ne faut pas mourir pour ça (1967), Les fils de la liberté (1981) and Les maudits sauvages (1971). She died on July 17, 1984 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
- She was found strangled in a vacant apartment that she had gone to look at. Her case was profiled on a Canadian TV show in April 2007. Investigators renewed their work on the case. In August 2007, a 49-year-old man was charged with first-degree murder with the help of DNA evidence.
