- (December 2 to 23, 1993) He acted in Culture Clash's play, "Carpa Clash," at the Mark Taper Forum Theatre in Los Angeles, California with Ric Salinas and Herbert Siguenza in the cast. Marga Gomez performed her play, "Mimi's Monologue." Jose Luis Valenzuela was director.
- (July 27 to September 17, 2006) His play, "Water & Power," was performed in a world premiere at the Mark Tape Forum Theatre in Los Angeles, California with Culture Clash and Dakin Matthews in the cast. Lisa Peterson was director.
- (December 3, 2009 to January 24, 2010) His play, "Palestine, New Mexico," was performed in a world premiere for Culture Clash at the Mark Taper Forum Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Lisa Peterson was director.
- (March 9 to April 1, 2012) His play, "American Night: The Ballad of Juan Jose," was performed in co-production with the La Jolla Playhouse at the Kirk Douglas Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Culture Clash and Jo Bonney were developers. Jo Bonney was also director.
- (2010) His play, "American Night," was performed in an Oregon Shakespeare Festival production at the New Theatre in Ashland, Oregon. Bill Rauch was artistic director.
- (2017 to 2018 season) His play, "Water & Power," was performed at the Urban Theatre Company in Chicago, Illinois with Andrew Neftali Perez in the cast.
