Michael J. Miller went on to become a Rock, Soul, and R&B performer, playing the New York club scene during the 1980's through the early 2000's. He played drums and sang in the band Miller, Miller, Miller and Sloan, which is the subject of a documentary by filmmaker Lucy Kostelanetz. He was also in the band Astrochicken, with his brother Caperton Barnes (Barney) Miller, was the lead singer / frontman for New Soul Orchestra, and in 2006 began performing and recording under the name Mr. Shy.
