WWE legend, Bushwhacker Butch, has died at the age of 78.
His death was announced on Monday by his longtime tag team partner, Luke Williams, who revealed Butch passed after a brief illness.
On Friday, the New Zealand professional wrestler, whose real name is Bob Miller, was hospitalized in the ICU after arriving in Los Angeles for WrestleMania, which Williams said resulted from a “situation with medication.”

“He flew in from New Zealand on Wednesday, was all good. Friday morning, he was incognito,” he explained during an interview over the weekend.

The office of Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp said today that “the major motion picture, television, and streaming companies plan to bring back and hire an estimated 40,000 production workers, who will be employed on an expected 75 production projects that will invest over $2 billion into the Georgia economy during the next eighteen months.”
The Georgia Department of Economic Development said these numbers include the Walt Disney Company, NBCUniversal, Netflix, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Paramount Pictures, and Warner Bros – all of which are members of the Motion Picture Association, which also hailed the state film industry’s reopening.
“Production companies want to be in Georgia and create tens of thousands of jobs for workers across the state, and today’s announcement is welcome news as we continue safely reopening our state,” Kemp said. “I thank the Georgia Film Office for their work during the pandemic, and I thank the production companies who always vowed...

The Bushwhackers were a memorable tag team that were part of the WWE roster during the late 1980s/early 1990s. Fans would remember them most as the guys who licked peoples faces and swung their arms wildly while they walked. As they are inducted into the 2015 WWE Hall Of Fame, many fans might not know that they had a successful career that spanned 20 years prior.
The pair began in their home country of New Zealand and wrestled all over the world in the era of wrestling territories. They amassed dozens of Tag Title reigns and introduced many audiences to the hardcore style long before it would become a trend in the business.
Since leaving the WWE in the mid-1990s, they’ve fallen out of the public eye. Their last major appearance as a team was during the Gimmick Battle Royal of WrestleMania X-7 and Butch Miller would retire shortly after that.

A lot of people have been talking about Benjamin Morris’ 538 piece, “Are Pro Wrestlers Dying at an Unusual Rate?”
Like Morris, I am neither an actuarial scientist nor a demographer. So, our interpretations of the data should be taken with a grain of salt. My results were somewhat different from Morris’ due to a difference data set and changes in how we calculated actuarial predictions.
Differences in methodology from Morris
I also used Social Security Actuarial Life Tables, but my “expected mortality rates” for the age groups were not the same as Morris’. For each wrestler, I calculated what their age would have been as of today. Then, based on gender, I looked up the number of lives (out of 100,000) that were expected to still be alive and converted that to a percentage. His analysis looked at wrestlers who were on 20+ WWF PPVs through 2002. I went with a...

On the most recent "Blacklist" episode, an old friend of Raymond Reddington's comes back into his life to wreak havoc on the FBI team.
Anslo Garrick
The case of the week is super-bad guy Garrick, who feeds the Feebs bad intel so they'll bring Reddington to their off-the-grid facility, which he then infiltrates -- he is there to take Reddington and kill anyone who gets in his way.
While Agent Ressler is taking Red to safety, Ressler is badly shot in the leg and Reddington rather kick-buttingly staves off more bad guys and drags Ressler to safety himself -- inside "the box."
It's a more or less impenetrable see-through box, which is an amazing framing device to use so that Garrick can address Reddington while Red tends to Ressler's wounds. It makes for very heightened tension, particularly when Garrick starts threatening FBI agents with a bullet to the head if...
