- 1927: WAMPAS (Western Association of Motion Picture Advertisers) Baby Star. "Baby star" was a popular slang term for "starlet" at the time and should not be confused with "child star".

- Daughter with husband A. Ronald Button: Barbara Button McAllister. Barbara Button appeared on the TV series Coke Time (1953) with Eddie Fisher, uncredited in Zabriskie Point (1970), and in various TV commercials.
- Her second husband was A. Ronald Button (b. 1903, d. 1987), an attorney. He began practicing law in Hollywood in 1928, where he had a number of celebrity clients, including Hedy Lamarr. Later, he specialized in corporate and business law. Eventually, he was appointed California State Treasurer.
- She had at least one sibling, a sister identified in historical records only as Mrs. Harold O. Wright. This is believed to be Hazel McConnell Wright (1901 - 1989), born in Tennessee.
- Some sources list her date of birth as October 22, 1906.
- Was an aviatrix. Along with Ruth Elder, was one of very few female pilots of her era.
