When Ethel and Albert was first heard on the ABC network in the mid
1940s, actor Richard Widmark played Albert. He left the program after a
short time to become one of Hollywood's most popular leading men.
Peg Lynch's timeless Ethel and Albert scripts, which have been
published by the Samuel French company, New York, are as contemporary
and amusing in the 21st century as they were when they were first
written in the mid 20th century.
