She made guest appearances on four of the longest running North American science fiction series: The X-Files (1993), Stargate SG-1 (1997), Supernatural (2005) and Smallville (2001).

She appeared in two television films featuring a worldwide near catastrophe on December 31, 1999: Doctor Who: The Movie (1996) and Y2K (1999).

In 2013 was named "International Women's Day Honoree" by the UBCP (Union of British Columbia Performers) Women's Committee for her history of giving back to the union, the industry, and causes of social justice.

She appeared in 10 of the 18 Hallmark Aurora Teagarden Mysteries movies.
