- Salvatore Licitra was born on August 10, 1968 in Bern, Switzerland. He was an actor, known for The Man Who Cried (2000), How Much Do You Love Me? (2005) and Love's Brother (2004). He died on September 5, 2011 in Catania, Sicily, Italy.

- On 27 August 2011, he lost control of the motor scooter he was riding and suffered severe head and chest injuries. He lay in a coma until his death, never regaining consciousness. The family agreed to make his organs available for transplants.
