- Professional wrestler from late 1940s to early 1980s.
- Debuted in 1947 in the St. Louis territory as "Tarzan Kowalski".
- In 1978, he moved to Salem, Massachusetts (near Boston) and opened his own wrestling school. He has trained Perry Saturn, Paul Levesque (Triple H), and Chyna (among others). He closed the school in September 2003 and the name Killer Kowalski's Pro Wrestling School was acquired by the Chaotic Training Center in North Andover, MA. In February 2004, Killer sold his ring (the one Triple H, Chyna and others trained in) on Ebay.

- In a 1952 match with Yukon Eric (Eric Holmback), an accident occurred in which part of Eric's cauliflower ear was ripped off. The fans, who assumed the incident was deliberate, were horrified. According to Kowalski, the fans began calling him names like "maniac" and "killer." He adopted the ring moniker of "Killer Kowalski," changed his ring persona, and began his career as one of professional wrestling's great heels.
