He continued to move up in the production world, working on such shows as The Chris Rock Show (1997) and Crank Yankers (2002). Kimmel's first writing job was as a Staff Writer on That's My Bush! (2001) for Comedy Central, and since has written for South Park (1997), Drawn Together (2004) and served as head writer for Crank Yankers (2002) and The Andy Milonakis Show (2005) (of which he also co-EPs).
