Appeared as a Honda executive on Mad Men, sitting at a conference table with creative director Don Draper. In real life, Keisuke's father was a "mad man" in 1960s New York, working in the advertising and graphic design fields in offices on Madison Avenue.
Keisuke's father Jitsuo started as a manga artist with Shogakukan in Tokyo; studied typography and graphic design with Osamu Tezuka in Kobe, Japan; and immigrated to America from Japan in the 1960s, where he soon became the Promotion and Corporate Art Director of Esquire, Inc.
In 1979, Jitsuo founded Hoashi Studio, Inc. (later Hoashi Communications Inc.) on Madison Avenue in NYC. His wife Tomoe later joined him as the firm's CFO.
