- His parents were both theatre actors. He was born during his father's Broadway run of "The Boy Friend" starring Julie Andrews in 1955.
- In addition to his acting career, since 1989, Edward Hibbert has also been a literary agent with the agency Donadio & Olsen. His clients include authors Chuck Palahniuk, Christopher Bram, Ed Sikov and Marc Acito, and he has represented film-deal rights for titles including Fight Club, Choke, Gods and Monsters, Oscar Wilde, and How I Paid For College: A Novel of Sex, Theft, Friendship & Musical Theater.
