Dance and work your cares away when “Fraggle Rock” returns to HBO in HD. Almost 30 years since it finished its run in 1987, the classic muppet TV series, created by Jim Henson, is making its way back to the cable network channel. Per Deadline, the new digitally remastered version will air at the end year on HBO, HBO Go, and HBO Now.
“In remastering the series, illuminate has created a contemporary look for the series with meticulous attention paid to every detail — sharpening the images, cleaning up the contrast, increasing the vibrancy of the colors and re-formatting for wide-screen — all under the careful supervision of Brian Henson,” said Richard Goldsmith, executive vice president of global distribution for the Jim Henson Co. in a press release.
